About Us

"A Kid’ll Eat Ivy" is a phrase from an old song that my mother sang to me and that I, in turn, sang to my own daughters when they were young girls.  I’ve always loved the song, and I like to be inspired by it.  To me it’s whimsy combined with a sophisticated melody, and it’s that combination I reach for my in buttons and baubles.

I’ve been selling buttons in stores since 2006, and it’s been a wonderful ride.  Now I’m making jewelry as well, and I’ve begun to sell at art and fiber shows.  COVID-19 has changed things, and now I’m in a new and unexpected direction. Believe me when I say I am open to feedback!

Please note the customer gallery. I love to see my buttons as they’re used in others’ creations, and I think others would too.

Many use my buttons in jewelry making, and it’s a thrill for me to see the results. I just ask that you credit my part of your designs.  I’ve included instructions for removing button shanks for a flat back.  All of the buttons are made of polymer clay, and all can be drilled as necessary for holes.
